The Heart of Our Family

Today is my Mom's 101st birthday! I was so sad that I couldn't be with her today as she celebrated her special day, but I was able to speak with her a couple of times, and I created a special gift for her.

Mom is surrounded by 60 members of the family: 4 children and their spouses, 16 grandchildren and spouses, and 19 great-grandchildren. I also added my Dad, who passed away 10 years ago.

For the past few years I've made a layout about her birthday parties, sharing photos of the family gathering to honor our matriarch . But I haven't actually created a birthday layout as a gift. I thought that she might like to see her family all together on one picture. We couldn't all be together today, but I hope she knows that she definitely is the heart of our family.
